For Immediate Release
Warren, MI – April 25: St. Paul Street Evangelization (SPSE) announced they will be hosting an event called Immersion 2019 – Evangelization Training Intensive. This is a summer workshop where evangelists from all over the country gather for prayer, worship, and street evangelization. It is a dynamic and hands-on experience (10+ hours of street evangelization), designed from the ground up to help train, equip, and mobilize Catholics as disciple-makers who proclaim Jesus Christ in the world.
The SPSE event includes prayer, a variety of direct evangelization experiences, dynamic talks, specialized breakouts, worship, and fellowship. We will gather together as a community for Mass each day to be spiritually equipped for the encounters the Lord has for each of us. Attendees will have a chance to learn from the other active evangelists as we share best practices and the stories of our daily encounters. Everyone will have the opportunity to receive ministry and to minister to others. Immersion 2019 will take place June 6th – 9th at the Doubletree Hilton in Detroit, Michigan.
Beth Schuele, Associate Director of Evangelization for SPSE, sees many positive things coming from the event: “I’m excited to welcome so many from our SPSE community as we gather together for prayer, learning and evangelization. I anticipate many beautiful encounters with the people we will meet on the streets of Detroit. Come Holy Spirit, guide our evangelization!” Brian Lee, Director of Teams for SPSE, believes the four-day event will provide an complete evangelization experience: “After many years of training leaders and evangelist in the classroom and online we are excited to offer yet another evangelization training experience, a four-day immersion where those who attend will enter into a culture of evangelization through prayer, workshops, and street evangelization!”
